DEPOSITS A non refundable deposit of £50 per room is required at the time of booking, either by a cheque made payable to M.A. & C.E. Channing or by a credit card over the telephone. We reserve the right to charge the full cost of the booked bed and breakfast accommodation, less any deposit paid, should the room be cancelled at short notice, or in the event of non arrival, or following cancellation we are not able to re let the room. Of course we will endeavour to re let the room if possible. In order to avoid this unhappy situation, we would advise you to take out holiday cancellation insurance, which will cover your payment in the event of cancellation. We make no reduction for meals booked and not taken, or temporary absence, or departure earlier than booked. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Rooms will be ready for you at 3pm on your day of arrival. We can arrange an earlier time by arrangement. Check out departure time is 10.30 am It would be helpful if you could let us know if you will be arriving later than 6pm, especially if you are having dinner on your first nights stay. DINNER AND BREAKFAST We cook our dinners from fresh produce every day and would ask that you choose your dinner main course after breakfast. Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 9.00am every day.
